About the wine
The wine is dedicated to Roberto Sarotto's daughter Elena. The grapes come from the winery's oldest vineyard. On the beautiful south-facing slope, which consists mainly of calcareous marl, the Barbera matures into a balanced wine. He takes care of the traditional Piedmontese grape variety Barbera. Almost half of the region is planted with it. Particular attention is paid to the care of the vines, because Roberto Sarotto is convinced that a good wine is created in the vineyard and grows in the cellar. Without neglecting the local grape varieties, he began to cultivate Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in recent years.
